🏈 Battle of the Sexes is a cross-league fantasy football tournament where Team Ladies competes head-to-head against Team Gents across 28 divisions. Each division pairs one lady and one gentleman from the same Sleeper league β€” your division record fuels your playoff path, but it's the overall team score that decides bragging rights.
πŸ—“οΈ Tournament Format
  • The tournament runs across 28 divisions, each containing one Sleeper fantasy league with a mix of Team Ladies and Team Gents players.
  • The regular season is Weeks 1–13. All points and records from this period count toward standings and playoff seeding.
  • Weeks 14–17 are the playoff rounds. Performance in these weeks determines who advances and who is eliminated.
  • Each division uses a median scoring format β€” you earn a head-to-head win/loss against your weekly opponent AND a second win/loss based on whether your score beats the division median. This means 2 games per week, 26 total over the regular season.
πŸ“‹ Playoff Qualification
  • Top 2 by W-L record in each division automatically qualify and receive a BYE in Round 1 (56 teams total). Points are used as a tiebreaker.
  • From the remaining 10 players in each division, the top 2 Ladies and top 2 Gents by regular-season points also qualify, earning a PTS spot (up to 112 more teams).
  • All other players are eliminated after the regular season.
πŸ† Playoff Rounds
  • Round 1 (Week 14): 112 non-bye qualifiers compete. Special rule: each player's Week 14 score is combined with their Weeks 1–13 season average to determine ranking. Top 56 advance.
  • Round 2 (Week 15): 56 Round 1 winners join the 56 bye teams = 112 players. Pure Week 15 score ranks them. Top 56 advance.
  • Round 3 (Week 16): 56 players. Pure Week 16 score. Top 28 advance.
  • Championship (Week 17): 28 players. The highest single-week score wins the tournament. One champion crowned.
πŸ“ Roster & League Settings
  • All leagues are hosted on Sleeper. You must have a Sleeper account to participate.
  • Standard roster: QB, 2Γ— RB, 2Γ— WR, TE, FLEX (RB/WR/TE), K, DEF plus bench spots.
  • Scoring is Full PPR (1 point per reception). See the Scoring Settings on the Home tab for full point values.
  • Waivers, trades, and all other in-league transactions follow standard Sleeper defaults unless otherwise announced by the Commish.
  • Trade deadline and waiver settings may vary slightly per division β€” check your specific league on Sleeper for details.
βš–οΈ Tiebreakers & Edge Cases
  • Regular season ties in W-L record are broken by total regular-season points scored (higher is better).
  • In playoff rounds, ties in weekly points are broken by total regular-season points scored.
  • If a player's data is unavailable from Sleeper at the time of calculation, they will be marked with a score of 0 for that week. Contact the Commish if you believe your data is missing.
  • The Commish's ruling is final in any dispute not covered by these rules.
🀝 Code of Conduct
